We are on the eve of a new Go-Live with The Social Hub , with a new application for which Bjorn Blakenburg and I were allowed to do the project management for! 🙌

Have you ever wondered what it looks like behind the scenes during a go-live at Yuccaa and how we did this at The Social Hub? We will take you through our process.

Of course, it all starts with months of preparation. This is mainly work behind the scenes and means setting up the system, connecting the system to our processes and all this by clicking into the system from the start and really experiencing and understanding it.

As soon as the system is in place, we start thorough testing, which is also intensive training for the key users. It is important that the training material is tested. Everything must be arranged down to the last detail and everyone must know how it works.

Once this is done, it is time to transfer data. And no, you shouldn't think about just copying and pasting. This requires careful transfer with clear recording and reconciliation of data. We leave nothing to chance, so we record our actions in almost hourly detail, including how we validate the data. Of course we want to make the accountants happy with our delivery ;-)

Once this is complete, it's time for the most exciting part: turning off the old systems and turning on the new systems. A thoroughly developed plan with +/-300 actions down to hourly level.

And further? The hyper-care phase begins. This means that we are on standby while people work with the new system. The last thing we want is negative experiences at the beginning, so we're there to answer questions and resolve any issues right away. That's our way of getting everyone excited and showing that it works.

In short, not just any go-live. But this is Yuccaa in action and every detail counts! 💥
